Our hairdressing courses in Sydney are designed exclusively for international students who want to pursue a career in the beauty industry as hairdressers or hairstylists. To enter Certificate 3 in hairdressing in Sydney, there are no pre-requisites, but individuals should meet the following criteria:

  • The student must be at least 18 years old
  • They should have basic computer skills
  • They should hold a Current Student Visa
  • Must be fluent in English and have good reading, writing, and math skills.

The course fee for onshore students is $18,000, and for offshore students, it is $22,000. We also provide fast-track courses for one year at a fee of $12,000. At Vigil International College, we provide materials worth $2,000. The students are also required to pay an enrolment fee of $300. Students can join our courses eight times a year.

The scope of our Certificate 3 in Hairdressing Sydney allows you to choose a variety of roles in the hairdressing industry, such as becoming a hairdresser, barber, salon manager, hair and makeup artist, and more. Course Duration:

This course is designed to be completed over:

  • 104 weeks (including 24 weeks of holidays); OR
  • 52 weeks (including 12 weeks of holidays): FAST TRACK

Expected Study Hours: Typical learners are expected to spend 14 hours in classroom training and 6 hours of self-study each week.

Delivery Method:

This course is delivered through a combination of the following:

There are no formal pre-requisites required to enter this course.

However, Vigil International College requires students to meet the following criteria:

  • 18 years or older
  • Have basic computer skill

  • Have sound language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
    If you are from an English-speaking Background, you must have completed at least Year 10 English, or equivalent.
    If you are from a non-English speaking background, you must provide one of the following, as evidence, of upper intermediate proficiency in English:
    • IELTS total band score of at least 5.5 with no band less than 5.0, or equivalent.
    • Occupational English Test (OET), TOEFL iBT, Pearson Test of English, Cambridge English Advanced with scores equivalent to IELTS 5.5 and no less than 5.0 in each band.
    • The English test must have been taken within two years before the application is made.
